Highly subjective answer based on how and where it was driven. It could last another 1000 if you aren’t driving it stupidly or in the sand, throttle pinned all the time.

I’d certainly buy a spare to have, even a non OEM spare is fine, just in case.

I believe @DLC now has well over 1000 miles on his stock belt on his 4 seater Can Am on 35” tires.

Generally speaking the Havasu desert is not that hard on belts.

If you have 1,000 miles on it I would swap it out with a new belt, and use the old one for a spare.

I have 1200 on mine. I think the key is rolling into the throttle and stock clutch. Stabbing throttle= broken belt.

For a RZR 1000 A billet belt change tool makes is a snap to change the belt. The stock tool is a bit of a pain to use.

Aside from the “driveway test” make sure you carry a sharp box cutter or snips to cut a shredded belt.

Both great sxs’s , owned both.
Can Am is the tritoon of sxs’s ride wise
You can never match the smoothness on the can Am , apples to apples from stock to full bore upgraded long travel
Wheel base wins in rough terrain for bad backs.

Other than that, each has their advantages.

I got 1600 out of my original. Still looks new. I replaced just to be preventative. Now I have a burned in spare along with a new spare.
