Looking at the boat picture thread and got thinking what model boat has had the longest production run? and is it still being made today? Talking more the mold than the make as molds changed hands. Propulsion doesn't matter but step decks are different than straight decks.

Edit: Talking river boats. Not sport fishers or sailboats.

Donzi Sweet 16. Started production in 1964. You can order a brand new one today. THAT, is a long production run

Does not beat the Donzi from 1964...
21' Schiada River Cruiser was first popped out of the mold in 1975 and is still in production today as the same boat
The 22' Schiada bottom is the same as it was originally produced in 1972, but the top deck changed in 1982/83

Agree. The 16, first as the "Ski Sporter" when Don Aronow began production began in 1964 and then later as the "Sweet 16" available in showrooms today, is easily the longest running.

Show me a 2021 that is out of the mold. Better yet show me one made every year though. Having it in the shed and saying you can still make it but not having a buyer ain’t the same
You want me to drive to Eliminator and ask them for a picture of at least 1 Daytona and it's sold date from every year of production? I guess I can I don't really want to go to work today....... But you're coming with me.

When did the first gullwing come outta the mold?...had to be mid ‘70s? Youngblood, the Cal Performance, a few others, now Tahiti...that’s a good run. Only other I can think of is the Rogers/advantage

What model Donzi has the crown? I just said the Daytona 19 because I figured it was one of the top most produced and sold.

Not even close boys.
Lowe line Big Jon 16’ has remained unchanged for 51 years. And I’m not certain but I believe Smoker Craft has that beat as well.
The man did say “river boat”....

Pretty sure a 16ft Donzi would be considered a river boat. She sure ain’t no big wave crusher. 😂

If it has rocket launchers (rod holders) it's a Sport Fisher or Bass boat and not a river boat.

Are you thinking this boat has rocket launchers? This is as river as it gets. Made for cruising clam waters , and certainly no fishing boat.

A canoe. Made since the Indians lived here. I believe I still see them today on lakes and rivers.

What do I win?

I wouldn't think that one would but the picture of the aluminum boat would probably have some. That Donzi looks Classy. It looks more like an East Coast boat than a West Coast boat but I'd still say it's a river boat.

I had a 78' Earl Smith 18' Gullwing in the early 80's and even at my age I still wish I had it now. A very early Tommy Papp and I built it in his garage.

On the top ten maybe the Talon 26' copied by many like Conquest, adding some useless length to the transom and calling it a 28'

Still selling that dinosaur today.

Alexi ? He had one ( I assume it's 20) at his shop when I dropped my boat off. He called it Rudy's "Sunday" mold.

Yup, a certain engine builder is building one as we speak.
