Looking for a clean, well running, crew cab 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton truck to leave at river and tow boat, must be reliable enough to drive back to CA if need be. Prefer Fords and GMs. Looking to spend around $10k. Large SUVs (Excursion and Suburbans) considered.

I've been looking for the same for the last few months. Def come across plenty of 2WD decent towers, but I'd rather not have to worry on the launch ramp with the wife pulling the boat out and have the 4wd.

Here you go almost double your budget. But super clean and will pull your boat out of the launch ramp no problem 5.7 4x4 70,500 miles $19,000

We've got an extra 2007 GMC Yukon 4x4 in the driveway. Wife got a new one a year ago. Captains chairs in 1st and 2nd row. Seats 7 with the 3rd row seats in place OR 4 with plenty of storage in the back with the seats removed. ICON coilovers up front and Bilstein 5100's in the back. Brand new (less than 100 miles) on 285/70/17 Falken AT3W tires. Black on black but the multi-zone AC and remote start kicks ass. 160k miles. Just paid the CA tags. $10k.
