My neighbor out at the river just heard Lost Lake is on fire and mandatory evacuations issued. He just took this photo from Ehrenberg.... Hope they get it out QUICK!!
Oh man, one of my all time Favorite places!
Hope this isn't another Red Rooster...
Red rooster?
Think the deal was the leases werent payed or renewed.CRIT went in told residents they had a certain amount of time to get out which wasnt much then dug a trench around the place so if stuff wasnt removed you had no way to get in or out then burned the place down is story i got from people near by.It WAS a RV park just north of Lost Lakes a few miles. The sign is still there, but...
The word is the Indians couldn't seem to negotiate a new lease, and just decided to burn it down. I'm gonna guess @BoatCop knows a whole lot more than me about the facts surrounding this.
Picture a friend sent a little bit ago
Are there any Lost Lake updates?
NoWasn't their talk of a casino going in the vicinity?
Firespotter/air boss. Calls in phoscheck drops. I'd wager....Looks like a plane is circling, Rockwell 690 out of Prescott. Flight tracker says private, hope they get some air support.

It's all mesquite brush out there. Plenty of vegetation to burn. How does that much desert burn out of control ? I hope everybody stays safe .
So you can no longer see California, sounds goodDue to smoke, we no longer see the CA side of the lake from up on the hill at our south side LHC home.
Lost Lake is between Parker and Blythe it’s like Parker it’s closedI thought lost lake was between topok and needles? View attachment 1119900

I get that but dont understand how it gets out of control . Military and civil fixed wing every where around there to dump water . This is not a forrest fire of pines . Again i hope everybody stays safe .It's all mesquite brush out there. Plenty of vegetation to burn.
I am guessing they are focused on protecting LL more than anything else. I think it is about 6 miles to the next park, Hidden Valley.I get that but dont understand how it gets out of control .
