there’s a 2 block stretch of the beach that was purchased by the home owners in front of our house in the 70’s to stop the county from building more homes and putting another road in. So because it’s technically private property you can drive on it. Doesn’t mean people don’t get all butt hurt and call the police and stuff but everyone that drives carts out there has a copy of the deed and insurance to the land and no one has ever been issued a ticket or thrown off the beach. We just can’t drive through the dunes as they’re protected land. It’s a nice little loop hole to the regular law.

October Santa Ana's make for outstanding north coast weather all the way up to Morro Bay. Warm, clear, sunny and flat calm seas. In the past, fishing Albacore out of Morro Bay in those conditions was amazing.
