Custom built for Our Customer in Florida, He has a M35 with 700's and a M29 with twin 700's
Please look at the way we core our boats. We core and enforce every square inch of the hull and not just the flat and easy parts of the hull. Our process is literally weeks more in labor in the mold. Others take a week in the mold and our process is 3-4 weeks in the mold.Love following these threads.
Not a bad idea.... Stay tunedTony it is time to move to Havasu so we locals can stop by and see these art pieces being built. Rent will be a lot cheaper and the test lake is in your backyard.
What’s in the M29? 700s? I thought the 29s didn’t like the weight of the 6s hanging off the back..?This will be his 3rd DCB, and he still owns all three, he boats in South Florida. View attachment 750723

I can only imagine the lack of labor (both capable and willing) plays a big factor.Oh yes no traffic!!!!!
I have always wondered why a couple of the boat companies in Southern California do not move to Havasu.
Overheads would be way way less and the lake is at their door steps.
My old M35.This will be his 3rd DCB, and he still owns all three, he boats in South Florida. View attachment 750723

Awesome build, DCB.
Tony?
I’m sort of confused on the dual fuel aspect here?
I thought the 1100 and 1350 both ran premium pump gas?
It makes sense on the others you’ve done with the 1350/1550 split, at that 1550 level it needs good gas.
Just curious, I just spray em, so the tech aspect i know is what little I over hear or, ask you
1100’s require 89 octane, 1350’s require 91 octane. Best use of this engine is for people who do a lot of distance/destination boating and their fuel stops on the water don’t carry 91 octane.
Yes.... What @lavery jr said. This is a new choice from Mercury, if you have 91 and 93 octane than you would run them on 1350 mode. If you can only find 89, than you would have them in 1100 mode. This combination comes with the M-8 and it a bit more then the 1350.Awesome build, DCB.
