I am working on putting values to machinery at the shop, and this mill has been difficult to find pricing on. I'm not sure of the year, but from what I can tell Bridgeport starting making this model around 2002. It's dirty, but in good condition overall. Any ideas?

Nice piece. It has a modern variable speed. You buying, selling, or just assessing asset value?

I would think the number is around 6K

Looks fairly new. Have you contacted Bridgeport with the serial number?

It may be for sale-
I have to put values to all the machinery, and parts, and basically the whole shop before a decision is made. Ill post some items here first if they go up for sale.
The other machine i'm getting very little info on is a drill press table, really neat piece, WWII era.

I hope I am not insulting. I would think the gang drill press would be more of a novelty rather than a hard value.

Soooouuupercool piece no doubt, but little manufacturing value IMHO.

I hope I am wrong.

Totally agree on the novelty-
We do use it daily though!

Oh it definitely has use. I can only imagine the gazzilion holes drilled on that ol girl.

Back when we built shit and peeps weren't insulted to work.

Call Christopher Rohner at Rohner machinery in Fullerton, this is what he does. I don't know if he's in the appraisal business, more buy and selling, but tell him you know Kieth from District 37 motorcycling, might help...........or hurt, lol.

BTW on the bridgeport look at the serial # that is stamped right on the front of the Y axis center of the way body when you move the table back (right above the y handle), that is the easiest way to determine the date of MFG
