Bindings can get switched, and often do when people buy used skis,, or even just buy a different set of bindings. Obviously it's important to fill the old screw holes properly to prevent water from getting into the wood, but not difficult to do that.

This white ski should be fairly easy to touch up the old holes so they don't stand out much too!
