Hey guys, putting this up for sale. My garage space is at a premium and I don't know when I'll ever get to finishing this project that I started 10years ago. I need somebody to give it a good home and finish it for me.

I believe it to be a 1964 Howard split cockpit 18.5' true flat bottom. It is currently mounted with a Ford FE bigblock that I built as a young 20something year old but never started or broke in and has a Casale Toploader. Almost all the rigging is there. Comes with tandem axle trailer.

The dollar amount is not neccesarily important. Passing her on to somebody who can finish what I started is. In Austin, TX

What a pretty boat. I’m in Dallas. I wish I had extra funds to toss your way and finish it up. I’ve been wanting a flatty for a while now. It’d make a good sister to my Baker. Good luck with the sale, I hope it finds a good home.

What size is the FE?

It was originally a 360, but has a 427 rotating assembly in it now and has been bored once. I remember the math coming out to almost 400ci exactly. Has a pretty hot cam but I don't remember the exact specs.

What’s it need to be done to finish it?

Off the top of my head, fuel system plumbing needs finished, cooling system plumbing needs finished, vdrive has been resealed but still needs reinstalled, cav plate linkage still needs hooked up, steering needs wired. I had intended to take the engine apart and check cylinders and bearings this winter before firing, but it the oil system was primed and the cylinders were fogged when I put it up.

So a 390 plus 2CI for every .010 over.
