Fucking awesome!!!!!!

Can we set up a pay per view for this penalty for crooked politicians when committing treason. I bet it would only take one or two before that shit sorted itself out PDQ

Did he go a little far? Maybe, but he will never do it again.

Don't steal shit, you won't get shot. Pretty easy answer since at least here in CA crime is supported by these idiots who gamed their way into control.

Pathetic that we have to police ourselves, then take the hit for it. CA needs a serious lobotomy of it's legislature.

Here’s the secret to avoid getting killed for stealing other people’s shit.
It’s not widely known, so please, let’s make it our little secret.

The secret is:
Don’t steal other people’s shit.

When the police aren't allowed to respond and arrest criminals the citizens are forced to become the police.

If some people don't like it, then re-fund the police and enforce the laws of the country.

No matter how much funding the police get they can’t protect your catalytic converters and other property. Now if the police get funding, conservative DAs are involved and law and order judges are behind the bench the message that crime doesn’t pay will return.

But that’s a lot to hope for so until then we have to protect our families, property and possessions.

The moral of the story here, whether you back the insane truck driver/ hobo, or back the would be thief, is that you NEVER know who you are fucking with.
Especially these days with so many “normal” people pushed to their limits.
Take the challenge and find out...

That's straight up murder.

As much as we say we want to see thieves killed, in a reasonable society that is subject to the rule of law, killing someone for stealing a cat definitely doesn't make sense. We have to be able to control our emotions on this subject because people who want to take our freedoms will point to this shooting (and this thread) to say "look at those irresponsible gun owners etc etc"

That’s all well and good but this is where we are now.
You simply don’t know who your fucking with.
Thieves run across the wrong person all the time.
We cheer when home owners blow their heads off...well...this guy was living in his truck it sounds like. In CA I’ll bet he argues immanent domain no different than someone living in a motor home?
Yeah, dragging the body and dumping it has all the hallmarks of lunacy,..no doubt..but when we say people will have to start defending themselves and their property as CA mayors and governor make the cities and State more criminal friendly by the day, this is what it can look like.
It ain’t always wrapped up in a nice neat body bag.

He's going to to have a helluva time claiming self defense against a guy who was laying underneath his truck trying to steal a cat.

I may be within the law (in AZ) to shoot someone who is on my property, but I won't be able to sleep at night if I kill some dude trying to take my TV. He will be escorted out of my house at gunpoint, and will be met with fire if there are any aggressive moves, but I'm not shooting someone over my property. My things can be replaced, me having a clear conscious at the end of the day cannot.

This happened in Lakewood, WA. Most of Lakewood is a shithole. If you remember the old TV show COPS, this city made regular appearances. The dragging behind the truck might be a little over the top but he did drive around the block and turn himself in to PD who were there investigating the scene. If he would have held him at gun point and waited for the cops the tweeker would have been out in a few hours. Fuck tweekers.

@ArizonaKevin I am not so sure “shooting” someone on your property or IN your immanent AZ dominion is 100% legally justified.
👇🏽
Under ARS 13-405, the use of deadly force is sometimes permitted in Arizona. However, it’s limited to narrow circumstances. You can only use deadly force if you’re in reasonable fear of immediate serious physical injury or death. In order to lawfully use deadly force against someone, a reasonable person, in the defendant’s position, would need to believe that deadly force was immediately necessary to protect against potentially deadly force. That’s because self-defense must always be reasonable, proportional, and immediately necessary. Unless you’re faced with the immediate threat of serious physical injury or death, you cannot use deadly force.

For those that think the shooter did a good thing. He is now going to live in prison for what is probably going to be a very long time. He will have a small TV, maybe an IPod an electric razor and toothbrush. He won’t be allowed to have his catalytic converter in his cell with him. He is a fucking dumbshit.

So at 2 AM, In The pitch dark, your going to be sure an intruder is there to steal your TV. And not murder you and your family. Please let us all know how you will determine this in a split second in the dark ?

Justice would have been served just as well using the PRD12 lever swiftly and quickly. Results would have been the same, and less prosecutable offences.

You wrote it as I was thinking it.

Wake up, nervous about the loud noises and leave..."I didn't know there was a guy under my truck..."

Going to the extend he did is not going to help his cause, which just empowers the tweakers more

I'd live the rest of my life free in my truck before I served time in prison.

You seem to be wanting to debate the rationality of the shooter?
Not everyone is of sound mind and has the capacity of what we consider “normal” thought
I’ve already said the guy was obviously off plumb.
The headline here is “thief meets psycho”!”, psycho kills thief.
He’ll go to the puzzle factory wing.
Any halfway rational person wouldn’t have drug the guy down the street.
Almost as if it wasn’t his first time killing someone.
Couldn’t lift the body so threw a half hitch on and away he went!

It’s easy to say “I’d never give up my boat owning, home owning, family centered, portfolio performing life to kill a thief”...
But you and I aren’t the guy in the truck.

I just had a person I work with at work go through this they went to come in his garage to steal his side-by-side... he shot.bad choice as they had no guns.only way you can shoot is if they’re in your house.
