sounds like half the pen swipe was atacking his vice presidency under obama, that produced the caos in healthcare,and the rest is trump.

I have not read all of it.

With respect to education I agree that monopolies of public schools is a problem which is why I have invested in thousands of hours on school choice including charter schools.

I think education dollars should be strapped to the back of children where parents can spend those dollars on whatever school they choose versus given to government institutions regardless of that schools results. Parents being able to choose is important.

Unfortunately most in here would disagree with this as it is not the individual but only the government that can make America great again. ☹️☹️☹️

On the surface it looks good, we Will see how they screw it up. My first thought is it will allow foreign companies to poach talent to directly compete against American businesses.

I agree that competition elevates the game. Regarding education, I’m a modified Theory X when it come to interest in their child’s education if that makes sense. I don’t think most parents want to be bothered with it for the most part.

Theory X assumes that the average man is lazy and inherently less ambitious.

I understand that theory but disagree that we should hold back the ambitious.

That is why competition and in this case school choice matters. To the extent Theory X is correct for many, let’s make that available to them yet still give others who are more ambitious an opportunity to succeed.

Let’s not guarantee outcomes but opportunity. I get that is against the general thought in here but let’s promote opportunity for those who want to excel. 🤷🤷🤷

Topic is most certain interesting. I am shocked some of you who claim to much government aren't up in arms about this like you would have been just a short time ago if Trump did this.

Personally I think it's the start of the push to give government reason to come in and say we can do it better thus socialism.

Let's be honest for a min, this man has no plan, he can't carry a conversation. You were better off changing the title to Obama's plan signed by Joe, that's more plausible.

I'm curious too see if this will adversely effect Biden's benefactors, such as Google, FB and the like, as they had been some of the big tech groups doing some of these things.
As for schools...F' me, I agree with a statement made by 530 and liked by jen...it must be the heat?

I pay for a private school education. I wish I didn’t also have to pay school taxes for government education
