White plater?
It’s funny cruising around Havasu this week.
A few elderly with masks, but then I’d see the trained CA family tribe all suited up with face diapers, looking around in horror at the unmasked heathens...lol
Hilarious.

Try being the just about being only one in the main shopping center without a mask in Hawaii. I was grateful of the one or two others that I saw. Mask mandate out in public has not been required for a few weeks now people. It is funny to see parents direct their young masked children out of your path with a look of fear. LOL

Lol, only time we put ours on while there was to walk into a store or restaurant(oh and our hotel). They hadn't yet dropped the outdoor mandate until our second week on north shore.
Basically nothing seemed different from one week to the next.
But yeah, there were a few crosseyed stares within the malls but no comments.

Saw my brother couple days ago. He is no fan of the mask crap either but obviously has to wear one for work at his hospital......other than that he tells me he's going somewhere that he can be without, ie. lower river🙂
He's pretty burned out from dealing with Newson and the socialist agenda.
Only time I've seen him with one on was when he gave me & wife our shots at work.

It closed down last year and replaced with the first Olive Garden in the state. In typical Hawaii fashion, like k-mart & walmart first openings, the line are long and a hour + wait. LOL

I might not be back...

Just got back from Home Depot. Walked in with my cup o coffee and not one person said a thing. After walking the length of the store with looks from the masked on the left and right of me I deciced to play their game while I loaded my cart. I put down the cup of coffee and started loading up the 9 foundation blocks, 6”x!8”x18” on to my cart. Damn I am getting old and was feeling the restriction of the mask. After the second block I said screw it. Pulled to mask and put it on the cart. I was ready to address any staff member if needed. If you want me to put the mask on at least have one staff member on the floor to assist me loading then come out to the parking lot to put them in the back of the truck. But not staff member said a word.

Went to Lowe’s today, sans mask again, no one said a thing.

The govt over reach is done. Everyone needs to stand up for themselves.

Watch the retard thing, I caught hell for that. People thought I was picking on the disabled. All I meant was anybody who thought Joe Biden won is a retard.

Cashier dead, 2 wounded during argument over Georgia store's mask policy: Sheriff
IVAN PEREIRA and JOSHUA HOYOS
Mon, June 14, 2021, 6:05 PM·1 min read

A cashier is dead and two people were wounded after a shooting broke out following an argument inside a Georgia store Monday afternoon over its COVID-19 mask policy, authorities said.
The incident took place near Candler Road in DeKalb County at a Big Bear grocery store around 1:10 p.m. when Victor Lee Tucker, Jr., 30, of Palmetto, Georgia, entered the store, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said.
Tucker, who was also wounded during the incident, allegedly got into an argument with a cashier about wearing a face mask while he was checking out his items, according to investigators.

"Tucker left the store without making his purchase, but immediately returned inside. Tucker walked directly back to the cashier, pulled out a handgun and shot her," the GBI said in a statement.

An off-duty officer, who was a veteran of the sheriff’s office, pulled his weapon and opened fire on Tucker, the GBI said. Tucker was hit but returned fire and hit the off-duty officer twice, investigators said.

Another cashier was grazed by a bullet and she was treated at the scene, according to the GBI

The cashier who was initially shot was pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital, the GBI said.

The deputy was taken to Atlanta Medical Center and was in stable condition, according to investigators. Tucker, who was arrested by officers as he allegedly tried to crawl out of the store, was also taken to Grady and was listed in stable condition, according to the GBI.

Indictments are pending for Tucker, the GBI said in a statement.

Two things:
1) Holy shit, walk away. No reason to shoot...there are other stores.

2) Deputy was a secondary target, and got hit twice. He should have had the jump.

Unfortunately people are at their breaking point in some cases.
This is what “losing it” looks like.
People have had it.
Some have been stripped of everything and are hanging by a thread.

You never know who’s ready to snap, but if people are continued to be pushed and pushed we will see it more and more.

Sad, but possibly very true. "Falling Down" comes to mind. I've probably been closer than some, but yet further than others. When money is tight, and things start going away, there seems to be less to lose. If you fall into the trap of equating your bank account to your self worth, mixing stress and frustration, a person can easily become a powder keg.

Is that the case here or are you just making another excuse for failure?

Putting aside your attempt at insult, I have no idea the particulars any more than you do.
Sounds to me like he’s a career criminal and probably tweaked as well? Just from the few blurbs I’ve seen

But I do know that the empowered and emboldened social warriors are finding out more and more that Joe citizen isn’t going to do nothing forever.
We aren’t helpless sheep with no recourse.
May be slow to get going, but get going we will.

I have to wonder how the 3 people I saw yesterday, wearing a mask while driving by themselves, are going to make the jump to no masks 24 hours later.
