Gallery Furniture's Jim Mcingvale won $75 mil when the Astros won the World Series. He had to pay the customers around $70 mil of it. He was on Facebook pushing a wheelbarrow, supposedly loaded with $10 mil in cash and rolled it out to a private jet to make the trip back from Vegas to Houston.
Well, he has already committed to another sales promo/bet for 2023. If the Astros win the World Series again in 2023, any customer purchasing $3000 or more on furniture, which must include a sleep set will get DOUBLE their money back. No telling how much money he will make since the promo will be a year long. The odds of any team repeating these days doesn't seem likely. Further, If I heard right, he just went to Mississippi and bet $500K on the Houston Cougars basketball team to win the Final Four this year. He is a gambling man, that is for certain.
