moments ago and.their getting better
Looks awesome. Somewhere between Kanapali and Kapalua?
makes me wish we were there again. Maui is our favorite island.
Enjoy. I was just there on Wednesday but did not get to see the sunset that day. I did see the sunrise on my flight to Kona on Tuesday though. LOL
Love it! This was from last November just north of Kaanapali. Cheers!
Lucky!!! I'll be checking that same view in 2 months!!!
Napili @ kuleana
good eye...Napili @ Kuleana condo resort specifically. Nice facility, beach etc. and resonbly priced. Our condo is #405 like your drag boat. It's what i thought of to remember it after we changed from the orig. unit we booked. haha
it does leave a mark on your soul that's for sure. the local people here in the islands seem much nicer than previously 10 yrs. ago or so.
I can only imagine just how beautiful that was with the sun coming up gracing the islands beauty. Kona was beautiful. We flew here sun. mid-morning from Kona on mokulele air. It was like an excursion itself. The visability was awesome and the little bit of bumpiness added some fun too. I thought often about you and your wife while we've been here. I hope she is doing as well as can b expected. It makes my heart ache to know what she's having to endure. I hope your trip to havasu brought you guy's some joy and peace.
awesome pic.. thx for sharing.
sunsets warm my soul. haha
I hope you'll share some sunset pics when u do?
that's gorg.. I like how the clouds always add so much drama and color to sunset pics. The fluidity of the scene just continues to amaze.
fantastic fire sky pic. It's so incedible when the sun is so low on the horizon like that. the fire sky and color reflection of the water never cease to amaze me. phenominal...thx 4 sharing that.
Even on the open Pacific Ocean sunsets can be phenomenal. Add the potential of the "Green Flash" and it really becomes something to look forward to every day. Some great pics. Thanks.
the illusive "green flash". never heard of it b4 until an nice ol veteran dude was telling us about it in kona during another beautiful sunset one day last week, sounds awesome. Anybody ever able to capture a pic. of it?
Very cool! We are headed to napili in a few weeks! We stay at Hale Napili. Probably one of the nicest beaches around.
Actually there are many photos of The Green Flash. This one would be fairly typical. It is a monmentary phenomenon that happens just prior to the last sliver of the sun dropping below the horizon. Usually need a clear atmosphere without clouds on the horizon.
We will be there in two weeks, have a timeshare at the Sands of Kahana. That picture was taken there...
Tricked ya. Last pic is sunrise and just as nice!!
Honolulu City Lights by Keola and Kapono Beamer says it just right
