Don't know if this is live and really don't care but fuk me a 67 L88 Vett just sold for ......wait for it.....2.45mil. Yes $2,450,000.00. 😜

Strange thing was it stalled at 2.3 and guy bid 2.45 which took it off reserve. He won. LOL

So one of twenty, what was called a radio delete back then. Basically a race car. Original owner full docs, then to a ten year resto. 2013 one went for 3.4 m.
I prepped a 67 tri power for NCRS about 16 years ago. Those guys are nuts!

The prices were crazy across the board last night at Glendale. There is tons of money being thrown around these day on everything.

My Dad had one of these he bought new in 1967 for just over $4,000. He was 23 yrs old. I have old pics of it I’ll try to find and post. He kicks himself to this day for selling it but being 23yrs old back then you never know what the future holds. I was born a year later and fucked up his mojo [emoji1787]

L88 or not, they drove like a truck! Sold this 66 with 427 Tripower, knock off wheels and sidepipes for 25K in 1983. I would buy a few nicer cars for 2.4 M myself. :p
My buddy owned it until his passing in boating accident in his 21 Howard, His wife had it for a few years and sold it too. Have no idea who owns the car now. I'd buy it back for 50K, 🤔:p🤣
