Mercruiser Rev Limiter

Motor is a 1997 500HP. Can the rev limiter be adjusted to a different limit?

At this point I wouldn't. But if the motor got rebuilt with better components and I wanted to still use the Mercruiser ignition I might want to bump it a few hundred rpms. Mostly just wondering if it can be done and how.

No. But you can remove it It's a separate module that plugs into the ign module
