Ask dave, he was just in Parker on sarurday and ate at one.
Tierra Caliente is great, small family run, very friendly and good food, ate there twice this weekend. Not to mention that their uncooked Carne Asada is very good if you want to grille your own. I still need to try Lily's, but have eaten and most of the others, Maya, Sarapa and Rupertos. Rupertos is 24 hour for that late night craving, some really like it, me not so much. Other one that is good is Mi Tierra, at he 4 way signal at the 95 and river road,, across from Bobby D's,, more family from Tierra Caliente, so food is similar or the same I think.
I don’t about all those other joints, but we always drive thru Taco Bell in Parker and get Taco and bean burritos for the drive home!
Yes, exactly, but no set schedule on when they will be out.The taco trailer set up in spankys parking lot is run by the tierra caliente family also. Stopped for some tacos there a few weeks ago. They were really good!
That might have been Mi Burrito up there? From all reports, Lily's is good, I just have not taken the time to check it out myself, I usually go upriver to the floating bars that don't have the crazy tax rates. Is Lilly's the same one that used to be up by the dam? Because if it was it sucked pretty bad.
Yep. Saw them out there saturday night..Yes, exactly, but no set schedule on when they will be out.
Lilys is bomb! Good salsa..chilis. Nothing fancy.. But good. That might have been Mi Burrito up there? From all reports, Lily's is good, I just have not taken the time to check it out myself, I usually go upriver to the floating bars that don't have the crazy tax rates.
Yep, saw them on the way back from Tierra Caliente.Yep. Saw them out there saturday night..
No way. Man that sounds awesome. I gotta check that out next weekend for sure . had no idea they served dinners like that. Thanks for the tipBy the way, Tierra Caliente has a special on Friday nights, either rib eye or prime rib with garlic shrimp and some other stuff for $23.99. I didn't go for it last Friday but another of my local friends has posted a photo of a steak as large as the plate. My friend got the chicken Alfredo (yes, it's a Mexican restaurant), huge plate of food that he said was really good.
Where is Lily’s?
El Sarape has absolutely gone down hill.. I’d steer clear of that one right now.
Just ate at Tierra Caliente for dinner with friends after getting our DNA changing vaccine shot in Parker. REALLY good food!! Did not disappoint any of us. The carnitas that I had were great and those flour tortillas were some of the best I've ever had.Tierra Caliente is great, small family run, very friendly and good food, ate there twice this weekend. Thanks for the tips on Mexican food in Parker!!!
Glad they didn't make a liar out of me. Mi Tierra up across from Bobby D's has some great margaritas. As I mentioned before, they are family owned so you should find them to be similar quality.Just ate at Tierra Caliente for dinner with friends after getting our DNA changing vaccine shot in Parker. I prefer Mi Tierra's pollo asada over caliente's p. asada. curious to know if you have noticed a difference in the two?Glad they didn't make a liar out of me. No, but we are a little upset about having kids is now out of the question, just as we were going to try, now that we're financially stable you know!!!!!Have you felt the tracking device yet? It's such a trip when it starts moving around
I normally purchase the carne asada, so won't have a valid comparison for you. I know one time Tierra Caliente catered my friend's birthday party, and the ribs they had were crazy good. Next time I was in the store I ordered some up and they were not even in the same league.I prefer Mi Tierra's pollo asada over caliente's p. asada. curious to know if you have noticed a difference in the two?
