I just got back for 3 days in Mexico. I know, I know, the Cartels are gonna kill me and chop me up. However, once you realize that Mexico isn't anything like what the news portrays, you can enjoy the beauty of it and will be immediately hooked.

Day 1 - Tecate/Ojos Negros/Valley De Trinidad/Mike's Sky Ranch
Day 2 - Mike's/El Coyote/Camalu/Coyote Cal's
Day 3 - Coyote Cal's/Ojos Negros/Tecate

This was the most fun ride I've ever been on. The people were welcoming and the food was amazing. 470 miles of pure off-road fun.

Coworker of mine did a trip earlier this year. Said it was unbelievable. Video of them running on the beach was badass. 3 days of running and partying pretty hard.

Be careful once you get bitten by the mexican black widow, you have to go back...

Although my wife isn’t having any part of Mexico, especially after some wives and kids - Mormons got taken out. I wanted to do a guided trip in April To Cabo but she isn’t taking the bait.

I just finished the Arizona 800 ( Arizona Peace Trail ) last month and it was 5 days of totally AWESOMENESS and everybody spoke English and it was safe to drink the water....

If the trip in April you are talking about is with Off The Grid, you will have the best time of your life. My wife and I did the 1700 mile peninsula run in May and it was amazing. The news media are a bunch of liberal idiots with an agenda. We felt safe the entire 10 days we were there.

This looks really fun. Were all the roads/trails you guys mostly graded fire roads like that?

Id guess it was about 70% graded roads. They were far from good condition though. We also went through washes, light rock crawling, over streams, tight trails, etc.

This was a trip I got invited to by a group of friends. I have the routes on GPS. If people are interested, I can get a ride together with some experienced guys.

I got so much grief from friends and family before and after the trip. It was annoying.

There are many parts of any major city in America id be scared to ride a UTV through. At no point did I feel unsafe. The people were welcoming, the food was on another level, the hospitality was perfect, drinks were stiff, and it was a bucket list trip that I can't wait to do again.

You are only in these small towns for about 5% of the time. The rest of the time there are no signs of life other than a random ranch.

If you do put something like this together again and need some guys, let me know, I'd be interested.

This is turning out to be a bucket list type of trip for me if we organize this guys! It is Epic. A 3 day trip would be perfect. Not to short, not too long.

If there is enough interest Ill gladly arrange it.
I would be in, I've been going Baja since I was 6 months old and it is the most magical place on Earth.

Stop posting this stuff...:...

Mexico is dangerous, they hate all Americans specially white people.

We’ve done a few 10 and 15 day trips, haven’t been since 2013, was whining about it just the other day to the wife. She’d never go with me as she believes that all three towers fell with two airplanes.... but the neighbors are there now they left last Friday for B1K will be back Tuesday.

Run the Sea of Cortez, park in San Felipe and run down to at least San Ignacio and back.

That's the one I want to do next. Tecate to San Felipe then back to the west coast. I'm itching to go back bad...It was the best riding I've ever done in a UTV.

Honestly the pacific is ugly compared to Sea of Cortez.
San Felipe is a great start point as you can wheel there day one and stay at a hotel, then leave trucks and trailers there. Stay in Baja De Los Angelos night one then San Fransquito day three, then San Ignacio (Rice & Beans) night four. Then work way home. That follows a major jaunt of the B500. And sofa king beautiful. It’s been forever i need to do it again soon.

Been to Mikes Sky Ranch a few times. It’s a hoot. Woke up there one morning in October and there was a couple inches of snow on the ground. The ride back down the hill was a blast.
