I’m on calls until noon. If you need help let me know. Those pics are my neighbors on both sides. Leaving here at 5am!
Went out at 2, wife did some wake boarding then we beached at north end of channel for a bit then pulled the boat out at 6 as it was looking bad. Wife said let’s put it back in storage for the night. Closed the door and it started to pour. Lucked out.
Happened to us the same last Sunday. Today‘s storm was intense. The thunder was going for minutes at a time. The winds picked up and rain followed for about a half hour. The volume of water was not even close to last Sunday though. Hope all are safe and if anyone needs a hand happy to assist though the weekend. ;thumbsup:
Wow, that is impressive for the desert area. Any idea how all the rain that affects the lake water level? Does it even make a change in it?report is 1.55” of rain at Havasu airport in 2 hours
Just adds mud and debris. Most washes run out to the desert, not to the lake.Wow, that is impressive for the desert area. Any idea how all the rain that affects the lake water level? Does it even make a change in it?
Are you speaking of Lake Havasu, Colorado river water shed or out in the middle of Rice road or where they flow towards dry lake beds ?Just adds mud and debris. Most washes run out to the desert, not to the lake.
I think it’s CA 95, Rice looks open. Anyone confirm, I’m going out tonight and would rather take the death roadRice rd is washed out. Just saw video. Was supposed to head out tonight. But have to meet head inspector tomorrow.
Can't tell if the barricade is for 62 East or 95 No. If I had to guess, I'd say it's for 62 East by the way it's placed. I have no personal knowledge.I think it’s CA 95, Rice looks open. Anyone confirm, I’m going out tonight and would rather take the death road
There were a few storm cells last night that converged and finally gathered in the north basin and sandbar area then kinda expanded onto the Island, northside of town. Quite the show. Got only light to medium showers up near Bison and a little bit of wind.report is 1.55” of rain at Havasu airport in 2 hours

Tell that to maps……Cal 95 just opened 8.30 am
The latter, but even then I don't think the rain around the lakes raises the level by any significant amount. But that's just me talking out of my ass. I have no experience in the subject. Are you speaking of Lake Havasu, Colorado river water shed or out in the middle of Rice road or where they flow towards dry lake beds ?
We were on Havasu ~4weeks ago after some stormy days and it was higher than I'd seen it in a long, long time. Many beaches under water. I'd bet lake level was over 449'(asl), maybe even 449.5.The latter, but even then I don't think the rain around the lakes raises the level by any significant amount. A report of last week indicated with all the LV area storms, Mead was no longer going down. But, it wasn’t going up eitherThe latter, but even then I don't think the rain around the lakes raises the level by any significant amount. But that's just me talking out of my ass. Pretty impressive how they didn't waste any time to start cutting trees and cleaning up!Islander is in clean up mode. They are all over it! Damaged awnings all over.
Big thanks to az awning for jumping on my neighbors. Next light breeze it would be hitting our rig.
Snap awning fittings all over.
Glad i went with 2" poles years ago. We are looking good.
Its 100 and hell like humidity

Actually, Mead is rising, and the storms are helping, but it's rising mostly from the water being dropped from Powell, and helping is that Mead is dropping less water South due to the rain around the farms below Parker and Yuma. Not sure if there's any reduction to California ( Imperial or Coachella).A report of last week indicated with all the LV area storms, Mead was no longer going down. But, it wasn’t going up either
