I am going to have a Mid 80's Mercury 200 Outboard and a CMC Hydraulic power lift for sale. I am curious if there is much interest in these items. I will get specifics and pictures soon. If anyone is interested or wants more details please let me know or PM me. I know this is not the classidieds but if anyone may be in the need in the near future or know someone please keep these in mind.

Need more info. Sounds like a 2.4l if it's a 200. I'm guessing carbureted too. How much setback on the CMC jack plate? Manual or hydraulic?

It is a 2.5L and it is carbureted. The CMC powerlift has 5 1/2" set back and is hydraulic

I'm pretty sure the 2.5's weren't released until 92 or so, so I don't think it could be a mid-80s.

STV_Keith... Your Right. I was informed by a website it was mid 80's. I called Mercury this morning with the serial number.

Correct information is 1992 Mercury 200 2.5L 6-Cylinder

Well, assuming the compression and leakdown numbers are favorable, I'd guess that motor should have about a $1k to $1.5k resale value...maybe a few more dollars, but not much.

Is the jackplate hydraulic or manual? How much setback?
