Eliminator pulled the mold down and got it cleaned up!! They pulled the first 21 Daytona in years, which will end up being a pleasure / race boat for Mike Finnegan of Road Kill and Finnegan’s Speed and Marine!

Stay tuned for the build on this boat and when we go racing next season!

Poor thing couldn’t have gone through a worse storm(s) on the way home. Haven’t heard if the Sonny’s Hemi will be going into this build.

Dave, I noticed you wrote when "we" go racing. Do you have some $kin in this project?

I have so many questions......
I saw one of those trailers on a 25' Daytona in person...and after I left I still had so many questions.

Oh ya might see a little rdp sticker in there as we progress forward.. 😜😍.

I am always trying to spot an RDP sticker in his shop when watching his videos. Still have not found one.

I LOVE that RDP and Finnegan are working together, in some manner at least, on this one! I bet if he does a series of build videos like he does for most of his projects, there will be some serious traffic increase here!

Why would you say that? This is a towing and estate planning forum that has a couple threads documenting the risks of carting a bunch of drunk 40 year old women around for a day

What's with this trailer? Reminds me of a pontoon boat trailer. Is it on bags?

Will it make more sense after the wrap is pulled?

Dolly trailer. Made to go inside his truck Lincoln Hawk there, and likely other enclosed trailers. The trailer for his twin turbo place craft is that way as well.

Exactly, 21 Daytona’s usually sit down between the fenders.

I was wondering the same thing about the bags. Not that it is too low, but because the fenders are so close to the ground.

Lookin forward to see this build. Love the trailer. Square tube on sides is likely for platform inserts to work on it.
I did inserts on vector trailer for same. Remove guides, insert platforms. The baby tires keep it down low to the ground. Noice

I have a dolly trailer so I get all that, I meant that it looks like a prefab bolted together galvanized /aluminum trailer that isn’t finished. It’s raw and you can still see the marking paint on it. I am curious if he plans to finish/ modify it. Just kind of an unusual trailer for what will likely be a bad ass boat.

Gotcha. Yeah, I believe it's raw I-beam aluminum from Kokpeli (sp?). How Finnegan is with everything else he has, I'm sure he has plans to modify it in some manner as well.

I assume the trailer isn’t done...

Are those golf cart tires?
Similar but DOT rated I’d imagine.

Years ago my Dad had a car trailer built. He wanted a full width flat deck, no fenders. So the builder used a wheel/tire combo like the ones shown. It was a cool set up. Hauled a car from coast-to-coast behind the MH for years.

Love Finegan's channel, looking forward to this build.
