Mini Split AC system

I have a trailer trash mobile home up river on the Parker strip, Arizona side, less than a mile from Havasu springs and I’m looking to get a mini split AC installed. I’m looking for a quality 4 split - 3 ton system to keep it nice and frosty! Anyone have recommendations? Also, anyone know what ballpark this would run? Anyone with a similar system recently installed? The place is 1000 SF 2 bedroom place..... thanks!!!

Hit up Carey @slowinhavasu if you want it done right. There are DIY systems out there but I have never seen a homeowner install that was done right. Many still think they can do it though.

I think you’ll spend some money to get that system...last one I had installed was a 2 ton fujitsu with 2 heads and it was $6500 installed. I just quoted out a 3 ton with 2 heads and it was 7k. They both had a heat pumps in it as well though, im not sure if you can buy them without the heat pump and save some money.

I bought one that will do 900 ft2 last year. It's going in a room in my shop that is 400 ft2. I've had it for nearly a year now and all I have done is pour a pad outside for it to sit on. I need to get on it!

Same deal here, bought two units for two different outbuildings and have yet to get serious about installation.....
Too many other projects.

Air Control installed a 2 ton Trane mini split in my garage last year for $2700.

Those through the wall hotel style units are 11,500 btu and are under $1000 at HDSUPPLY, Most include heat.

Just replaced a 2 ton Fujitsu mini split for $3800 installed in our casita. Work,s great. I think they all are heat pumps now, which is good.

be sure to get it wired for 220 volts, the 110 units use more power and cool less. This new one will freeze me out when it’s 110 degrees and warm the place when it’s 30 degrees outside.
