Something isn't right. If she has mental issues, I do appologize, but 5 months? Anyone who's spent a night in a tent with heavy snow usually doesn't stay on the mountain. Usually, they tend to follow the water down the hills, usually to a road or such. I think she left her camp set up, and then took extra gear to leave society.

I have stayed in a similar tent for a week in rain. Those tents are not built for extreme weather. It looks almost too good of shape to have been lived in for 5 months through winter. Something is not adding up.
