Mobil 1 0-50 wt. use?

Have some 0-50 wt. Mobil 1 racing oil laying around and what is the application with such a low viscosity when cold? Stuff is not cheap....any good?

I use 20/50 in both my Harley and BBC

My 6.2 DI calls for 0-20, but the Builder said I could use 5-30 in hotter weather to get better oil pressure!
