Leaving Williams heading back to the IE. How’s the Havasu traffic leaving town? Thinking about heading to Havasu and then leave either 8pm or Tues AM. Have a feeling it will be a nightmare when I hit the 40/15 merge.

Traffic wasn’t bad. Made a quick stop in havi to see a family's house remodel. Left at 4:30 and arrived home 15/210 at 8:30. With 3 pee stops for the kids (grrrrr).

Now if I only had 1 dollar for all the blown boat tires on the 40, I wouldn’t have to go to work tomorrow. Check your wheel bearings and tires people.

Left Havasu at 4:15pm and made it home in Sunland by 9:05pm . Stopped and fuel up at the 40/95 and stopped to pee in Barstow . Don't know why most waste a day at the river to get home early . I will deal with 2 1/2 hours sleep before getting up for work to enjoy more river time .

Left at 7:30pm. Wife and kid passed out within about an hour. Had the remaining drive in silence and zero traffic. Glorious.


Kept the cruise control on all they way home. Never had to click it off. Home by midnight. Easiest drive home in a long time. 4:30 mins door to door is about 15 mins faster than usual.

Yeah, absolutely unreal. I was coming home from Utah on the 15 and the highway signs on the 15 in Vegas were saying 180 minutes to Primm....

I'd be staying another night.

Why do people do this? Why not just keep your hotel room another night instead of checking out at 11am and sitting in that traffic??? Keep the room order room service, sit by the pool, have a couple cocktails, then leave at like 7pm and toss that nights stay??? That extra night is usually pretty cheap if booked last minute.

Took us 5 hours to get from Prescott to Palm Springs, with a fuel and dog break....but from Palm Springs to Canyon Lake was 3.5 hours...SMH
