Its a Motel6 with indoor hallways.

Clean sheets, ac that worked, and hot water(albeit it sometimes liked to switch from hot to scorching without notice)

For what I paid, absolutely no complaints.

Staying at the Island Inn? How is it since it re-opened?
actually going to take some time to get up to par kitchen suites going in downstairs, no covid dining yet, starting from bottom floors working up, no hot tub waiting on room improvements before that cash goes out, staff are nice but as smart as a cucumber.

I've stayed there a couple of times this summer, still a shithole but great location......
We stayed there a couple years ago for DS before it closed down (under the last owners). Like stated, cheap but clean sheets and room so whatever. That's all I really care about. The price was right though. Pretty sure it was like $70 a night during DS.

Doing a dad / daughter trip and leaving once school is out.
Might walk the docks around the LB Friday or Saturday night, all depends on what the kid wants to do

Dat me!! That traffic kinda sucked. 😂

Kinda hard to miss me lol

We saw a nice Nordic cat about 15 minutes down the road before the traffic. Was wondering if it was someone on here. About a 26. Single inboard white with blue I believe.
Looks like the corner house in Rio buena vista

Nailed it.

I want to buy a house across the river their building.
There are some nice houses on that side. Also, it's in AZ, so there is that advantage. There is a gated community back there that is also nice. Man made little paddle boat and board lake.

Weather looks good but from the responses looks like this poker run could be kind of a bust no?

Long night cleaning, early morning dropping the boat off at Barrett. (Shoutout to the team for squeezing us in). Put the boat in the slip and jumped in @Jumppack JB for the lunch cruise.
Early read on the Max Machine whale tail is outstanding. Came on plane with the original plates at 3500 rpm, without was 4000ish, and these hopped on around 3200. It was a light load though. We’ll see with a full boat tomorrow.

Glad the tail worked out. Guy on OSO used it and didn’t like the results but I don’t know the details. Night and fuckin day difference on the cig. Supposedly AJ’s getting our boat ready and we’ll be heading that way this afternoon to drop it. Fingers crossed 🤞

Saw the beast in the shop. Looks badass. I’m sure if it isn’t ready you could use the inflatable cat for the weekend.
