No problem. Yes, I get reception up there. If you change your mind, give us a call. Dinner on Saturday is being taken care of by my friend. So all you would need is some stuff for breakfast/lunch and booze.

I hear you about getting stuff done around the house. That's all we did for the most part last weekend.

cool....I will check with Jen. Do you have a matterss in the WW?

The weather has been pretty bad at my house. Pretty cold and windy for what seems like ever. I bought and built one of those outdoor 20' garage tarp deals to cover the cole and the wind destroyed it in less than 2 weeks. I had 2 strap the thing down with tie straps and it has bent and now broken alot of the pipe. I shit you not 40+ mph winds

All but the tarps are going in the trash this weekend(Worst $200.00 I have spent in a while):(:lmao:swear

No air mattress, but we do have the two couches that turn into beds. If you wanted to sleep on an air mattress you would need to bring one.

That's some serious wind. It gets windy here, but no where near that. When I drive through that area on the 15, I always see those outdoor garage setups ripped apart in peoples backyards :skull

You wouldn't understand since you don't live in the hills like me;):D

The wind comes off the mountain straight doen that street into my sideyard. There is absolutely no wind breaks helping me out. I think the only thing that would last there is a motorhome or toy hauler;):hmm

I think were about 3K upside down on the Z71 at this point but you never know;)

I don't need a diesel but I would like a bigger truck with 4 doors.

GTO is gonna go bye bye next year for something a little more $$/eco friendly. At that point I would have enough for a trailer:skull

Typically I would agree with you on this, but there isn't much mooching to be done from Chuck :D

I need to stop by Big 5 and grab some ammo. I only have 30 rounds oput of 150 from havasu.

Want me to bring some .22?

I'm pretty sure I saw the UMC 40 on sale at Big 5. $16 a box I believe.

I have 500 rounds of .22, so I think we'll be ok. I'll shoot your rounds over Easter :D

Well its finished. Picked up the gun today and spent about 2 hours customizing it.

First here a pic of what the gun looks like new. And then with the stock removed.

Next comes the work to the receiver. Start by disassembly. The changing out the shell extractor and the charging (cocking) handle. Then the installation of the non metal bolt buffer. This replaces a steel one and reduces the shock when the gun is fired. Also make the action a lot quieter when cycling it.

next is the fun part. Modifying the trigger. Nothing special here. Just a parts replacement. The aftermarket parts makes the trigger smoother to pull and lighter on the pull also. Basically just refining it. Its soft and smooth now. Should help on accuracy being as it won't take much effort to pull the trigger.

And now the final assembly using the new barrel and stock. First the trigger group was reinstalled. Then the barrel. And finally the stock.
