Gonna play with it on the street a little and get the carb dialed in. Need to get the trans out so I can do some work to it and put it back with an FTE converter before i hit the nitrous. Need to find someone to do a few paint repair spots and once the trans is done maybe a little no prep

My buddy just got this. Owner didn’t give much info.
But it’s got a reverse manual valve body, trans brake, battery in trunk, power cutoff in the back. We popped the valve covers off just to take a peek and it has stud girdles . Can’t imagine anyone doing that on something basic.
It runs pretty good.

I'm on some watch lists for a 69-71 mini tubbed or full pro steet, prices are out of sight. Hoping a good deal might happen through a large circle of friends.
Bucket list car since high school, don't need it just want it if the price is fair.

My bud is looking for the same thing. One of the main problems is all these high dollar restoration/build places like the ones you see on TV pay people to scour the nation and buy them up in any condition at a high price because then they build the mega dollar resto mod’s and similar. My high school car was a 69 SS Camaro and in1980 it was just an old car. Lol. Picked it up for like 800 bucks and drove the shit out of it and took it to the dragstrip on Friday nights. Wish I still had that one

Same here, mine were Camaro's, Chevelles and El Camino's, had no idea what they would become.

Wife say's just find one and buy it, my thing is I'm not paying 30K for what I consider a project, just can't bring myself to do it.

Jackie is better than Sue🤣. I don’t know him he probably worked for APS and a friend of mine named Joe Carter. I worked for TEP/Unisource.

Very nice work right there! I am digging the balance between full race and stock sleeper look on the car, especially the interior and the green factory paint color.

Guessing it's got to be hoot to drive. Congrats.
