Nonsense, I bought my vette at 23. Just make sure you don’t buy a convertible automatic C5, that’s an old man car lol.

Couple friends had vetts in high school great cars even back then! I don’t think it’s a age thing more of a stereotype. I’d own one in a second if I didn’t want to stay married!! That being said I just turned 48 am I old enough yet?

I probably fit that stereotype. My thing is the Vettes I had when I was younger were nothing close to what you can buy today, had a couple 70's stingrays I bought cheap fixed up and turned for a few bucks. Drove both of them for a while and they didn't do anything for me.
Fast forward to now and after riding in a few newer ones I wanted to try one again. The Z06 I bought bears no resemblence to Corvettes of the past, hauls ass, corners like its on rails and is just an all around fun ass car to drive, a 427 at 7 grand is my kind of music.

An old supercar and exotic car collector once told me (he had over 25 supercars and collectables in his giant toy garage) I own a few Ferrari's and Lambo's but my Vettes are the only ones I would trust to continually put the metal to the pedal on drives across country from the west coast to the east coast and back and NEVER worry about them breaking down, I would do the same with my Ferrari's and Lambo's but always make sure I stay within 100 miles of home because anyone that thinks my supercars can handle what a Vette can are in for a serious wake up call. lol
