After over 10 years of training, my son earned his black belt in Kung Fu San Soo. He started training when he was 5 years old and on 08/11/2020 he received his black belt.

Both of my kids are two belts away from black in Kajukenbo. College got in the way.

Wise move to plan his completion while he was still in HS.

Brown belt and above can wear Black pants and gis. Only masters can wear red gis.

Don't know much about martial arts. I know it takes discipline and focus, especially if wanting to achieve a black belt. Those two things deserve respect on their own merit, the belt is a bonus to the character.

I studied Kung Fu San Soo part time for a few years when I was just out of High School. Then life and work fot in the way. I am only a green belt in it, but I enjoyed it.

Black belt is awesome I just got my black belt in jiu jitsu last year after training for 13yrs! Proud moment for you and your kids!
