JUst picked it op last Wed. Has been on order since August. Break in period is 1500 miles so it's going to be tough keeping Mr. Foot out of it.

That wing! Holy chit!
Carbon Fiber. At speed, between the front splitter, rear diffusers and the wing it makes 2000 lbs. of downforce. Stock ACR 's have set 13 production car lap records at 13 tracks beating the lap times of a McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918. American muscle at it's finest. Rumor has it that 2017 will be the end of production for the Viper.

Sweet!

Is that a 911 next to it in the first pic (on the left, can just see a partial headlamp and corner of the bumper)?

That's a beautiful car, and bad to the bone.

Unfortunately it's not a rumor anymore. Production of the Viper will cease at the end of 2016.

It's Official: Dodge Viper Production Ends in 2017
Fiat Chrysler just ratified a new UAW contract that specifies the end of production at the Viper assembly plant on Conner Avenue in Detroit.

We first heard the rumors last week, and now they're confirmed: Fiat Chrysler will end production of the Dodge Viper in 2017. We'll miss you, you venemous brute.

The end of the line for the V-10 sports car was buried in the contract proposal for the next four years between Fiat Chrysler and the UAW. That contract was just ratified with 77 percent support from UAW members, Automotive News reports this morning.

The just-passed contract contained a detailed plan for future production, including plans to upgrade FCA's eight-speed automatic transmission. And as Automotive News reported earlier this week, the draft contract specified no new vehicle production at FCA's Conner Avenue plant in Detroit, where Vipers are built by hand by a team of roughly 80 employees.

I look at it as the Cobra of our times. Pretty raw but so great in terms of performance. The modern Ford GT is another great american car but, it's a Ford with historical lineage and the new cars are expected to be around $350K. That makes the ACR look like a deal.

Congrats you lucky dog, gorgeous colour:thumbup:.I'd dip deep into my pockets to get one if I was much younger;). Now I just have to settle driving my friend's [ he has a few ACR's;)] when he lets me.
