Car #4, right after the yellow Ferrari..
Blown Hemi. Nash Metro... Completely ridiculous....Yet totally Cool.

we know the current owners, great people. to say that car is a handfull is a understatement. in its current form they have added a pretty good size wing to try to keep it planted.

A friend and I built a metro back around 1967 with a small block chevy, just a 3 carb set-up that we called the FULL HOUSE MOUSE

I used to see that car a lot. I remember it leaving Fuddruckers one time, pretty epic departure.

I was at Fuddruckers once around 2012 when he was there and it had a Lenco 4 lever transmission looked like it was from the old Pro Stock days
Could have been the same time you saw it. He did an EPIC exit down El Toro Road. I think he said he drove it down from Huntington Beach

Everybody's head turned when he pulled in the lot. It was loud as hell & lurched about a foot forward on every blower surge 😁

Great recollection! Sounds to be about the right timeframe. Turning out at the light, and then just blasted down El Toro. I think too, he might have u-turned and came back up the other direction and burp-ed it a little.

The metro stands out, and on a different occasion, I remember a brown/green Nova got loose and stuffed the front end into the sidewalk. That was great.

YES, THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED. Flipped a U-turn and gave us a show. Great memory yourself.

Post a pic of your 69 Camaro.....Here's my 67....bought it when I was 17. I'm and old fart now still have it. 620 HP Mast Motorsports LS3, TK600

Beautiful 67'. Looks great!

Here is mine. I have chronicled my work on the car down in the custom section.

WOW....Holy sheep shit. AWESOME BUILD. Is that Lemans Blue?

Bought it in 1977. Have done 2 rebuilds on it. Last one started in 2010 and took until 2014 to finish. Was gonna do an upgrade to Baer 4 wheel disk brakes and ended up doing a complete subframe off, all new sheet metal except hood and roof and a couple of valence panels.
All new wiring, body, paint, motor, trans, Pro Tour suspension, customer interior, stereo.....you know the drill

I'll have to do a mini-thread on it some day
