I need to find the contact info, but we have a guy we use that does all custom ones for our clients. Would be cool with the Hallett logo in it. Quick turn around also.

Let me find it.

I have just taken the standard ones from Wallyworld, and then used a bandsaw to cut to fit. I use a flapper wheel to radius the edges to match. Only on the white (hdpe?) boards though...I suck with finish carpentry stuff.

Thanks in advance! If they could put a logo in it and writing that would be awesome as well.

I’m putting two cabinet handles on it so it will double as a cooler lid and a serving tray.

You can use corian product for cutting boards. Its only 3/8 thick, but you can glue to pieces together and make it seamless, solid surface. Cuts and routers just like wood.

I’d like it to be butcher block or solid wood

If you can't have it made exactly as wanted online I'll be very surprised

I looked around for about ten minutes before I put the thread up.. I always came up short at the last minute in all the places I tried.. something wouldn’t be right.

I know there are people on here that custom
Make them or have friends that do, honestly I’d rather give my $$ to them anyways

Well I guess you shouldn't have run whiteworks out of here. :p I make custom cutting boards once in a while, when I have some left over wood. Let me see what I have in the bin. I don't have the equipment to router or engrave the Hallet new. I'm interested where you are going to put it. Where is it going to fit in my 270?

How fast do you need it? The fil makes boos block grade cutting boards for fun from left over projects. Has a 5 axis router and all..... I'll have to find the pictures of a harley davidson themed kitchen he did for a couple in chino. Shit was absurd lol

My wife wanted a large cutting board for turkeys and such...I couldn't find anything I looked and everything I found was ridiculously expensive. So I decided to make one. I used maple, purple heart, and sapelle (sp). It is big enough for 2 - 20 lb birds.
It's 28 x 18.75 x 1.75 thick

It's 5 years old now, needs to be sanded and re oiled with butcher block oil.

It ended up costing about 100.00 less than what I found on line, plus the sentimental value of it being home made along with the custom size for storage.

She loves it!

cooler lid.. lol. We rebuilt all the cabinets / insulated the built in cooler and made butcher block Counter tops.

I don’t need the Hallett logo, I can do that myself. At this point I’m more interested ingetting it quick don’t care where it comes from lol

These are mine, I guy down in Carlsbad or San Diego did them for me to spec, weren't cheap, but I like supporting craftsmen. I want to start doing them myself soon enough. If other options don't pan out, I can dig out his contact info.

Cutting board was one of the first projects if you were in woodshop in high-school. A jointer, planer and table saw. Few clamps and wood glue. Not sure where mine is but I know where the cherry dresser and walnut end table are. Probably a hour project for someone with a woodshop. Take me a few hours just to pull out my planer its buried in my garage.

You have one it’s just 3/4” to thin. The day I was making it looking at your text I told Sue I should question those measurements but heck he is a machinist so he knows what he is doing and it was like pushing dollar bills though the plainer. Lol.

Dave, you have this covered?

What does the counter top look like? It might look weird with two different types of butcher block, unless the are completely different. Maybe make an end grain board so it looks different from the counter. Let me know if you want me to glue something up.

Hey Dave, I just made a custom bbq table for my boat. I have the 16x16 piece leftover. It’s free-ninety-free!

PS, are any of you guys going to Havasu through Redlands or Highland Friday afternoon to get it out to RD? I'll make the trip down to the valley from the mountain.
