i have been borrowing a friends 24’ pace American for about s year now and really like it. They are going to sell the trailer and I decided if I’m going to get one I’d like to get one that suits our needs a little better.

Looking for 20-24’ish trailer with a bathroom / shower (if possible) / air conditioning / generator and have the sides open up.. if they don’t we can install that.

Basically just want to use it for shows and the occasional over night camping trip.

I don’t mind taking something that’s halfway what I want and changing it too what we need. New / used?

Ideally it would be able to fit my ranger inside of it as well, but I think because of the height and width that may not be possible.

What’s out there?

I was hoping to see some mfg’s websites that might have something close to what I’m looking for?

Jimmy one of the owners of universal trailers is a member here. I know he’d cut me a crazy deal on a custom build.. I was just thinking if they mass produce something like what I need it would be way cheaper?

I can buy the one I currently have.. the problem is they want 6k and I found new ones for 6100? Pre negotiating so I’d guess it to be worth around 4?

The one I’m currently using is a 2007-2008? Somewhere in there.

You won't find 1 comparable to a Pace for $6000 new. I sold my 2000 Carson 24' racer for $5500 few years ago when prices were down. Best bet is used or expect $8000+ new with bathroom.

Well the whole toy hauler deal is kind of appealing to me more now.. area in the back for all the clothing, and a kitchen / bathroom etc.

Ya you ain’t getting a universal, with air, gen, bath and shower etc new for 6000. Maybe if that’s your down payment.
Kevin and Tom are the owners, Jimmy I believe sales them.
Mines got all that, plus 2 happy jack beds, sink, micro, winch for when toys die, diamond stereo system etc... and I’m 50k + deep into it. Just sayin

If you go with a Toyhauler you have to consider your trucks capacity as well, Loaded towhauler with Rhino, water and gear is probably in the low 12k=13k... Is it gonna kill your pick up?

Yes, that’s about right
Then I added TV, Al n Ed’s diamond system inside and out, Onan gen, hidden floor winch, second fuel station, air compressor with lines inside and out, it just keeps adding to costs.
Your like me, you want what you want now. Not turn off the microwave and turn on the air. Or going outside to start gens etc. push a button for everything. Lol
With out the queen beds in rear that drop down your ranger would drive right in 9ft ceilings
6000 will barely cover the onan alone :D
Mines also a heavy bitch, not 1/2 ton friendly for sure. So keep that in mind when your looking or designing new

I owned a Weekend Warrior and would stay away from them.
Universal Trailers builds Quality trailers and you pay.
I can look at something in The IE for you if you find a deal.
Have you looked at Crankyape.com auction place in Kingman

You can also look at camping world for ideas on types of toy haulers if you decide to go that route. Most travel trailer toy haulers should have a large enough area to load the sxs into. You might need to reevaluate your tow rig. Maybe the RDP dually. Most fifth wheel toy haulers have a 12 foot garage in back. But they also have a closet or 2nd bath that encroaches on that space. I prefer the heartland brand but that may not be what other people like. Good luck on your search. They have lots of floor plans to choose from. Also. Most of the time if it's a toy hauler they have the fuel station. Usually a 40 gallon tank. And the generator is already there. 100 gallons of fresh water on board and a 40 gallon gray water and 40 gallon black water tank. You can go anywhere you want and be self contained.

A toy hauler won’t fit my ranger.. unless it’s extra tall. My truck is an f150.

I was thinking of just using the empty area for the rdp clothing which would bring the weight way down.

Used that is a good number.
With the upgrades I have done, I am around 30k. Trailer was 2 years old when I purchased it from a board member. Best decision I have made!

How much would it cost to update the trailer you were using. Did your ranger fit in it. It might be worth the time spent on searching for something you are just going to change to suit your needs anyway. You know the history of the one you have used. No surprise on hidden damag/repairs. Jmo

My ranger wouldn’t fit in the current one. It’s really tall and I’d need an extra foot or two. I’d probably put 10+ into the one I have currently to make it work

There were these that would work for the ranger. It's light enough for your f150

The primary purpose of the trailer would be for vending / selling shirts at events etc.. I just wanted the bathroom etc so when we were at the events we can stay in the thing or cook food etc.

I don’t think I’m going to find anything (even halfway reasonably priced) that’s going to work with my ranger, and selling clothing out of it.

Is the cage on the ranger the problem? Are there accessories on the top? Maybe a different cage on the ranger that's shorter. That might be cheaper to have made than trying to find a trailer that fits the current ranger.

How about a bigger truck...would the ranger fit in the bed of a f350? Then buy a less expensive trailer that doesn't have to carry the ranger. Just trying to open up some more options/ideas.

RD, something like this, but with a mini kitchen, refrigerator and bathroom.
Problem is, once it is stocked with clothing, not sure ranger will fit.

Dave you need one of those double decker with viewing post, VIP on the roof top deck deals....

a standard enclosed trailer isnt good enough for the RDP crowd ! We won’t settle !!

We will also need kegerator, disco lights, shade & Misters and then carne Asada tacos..... and I didn’t even say anything about an WFS sound system....

I’m hungry and could use a beer let me know when it’s ready!

LoL

I don't think the trailer combo you want exist with in your budget, a simple trailer does at $6,000. What you want is expensive, and while it would be cool for traveling and the occasion over night desert trip it hardly warrants the additional $30 -$40,000. I'm all for you spending $50,000, I'd like it to have a/c running all the time with the plastic door/drape like the Coorslight guys had at the street fair when Winn had the 41. I liked the roof top access as well. Little bbq/smoker would be handy at shows as well.

Rent one when you need one.

Owning is far more expensive than it is worth.

Mine is 18 years old and its toast. Yeah, I used the shit out of it. Its on its fourth set of tires, and I wore out the ball socket in the tongue and had to have it replaced!

For the money I've put into it, I could have rented something Way nicer, and had tons of cash left over.

RV's are not a great place to put your money if you ever want to see it again.

Maybe just a smaller concession trailer for "quick" events ... roll up, open up, and sell !

OK, so we've established that your going to need a bigger trailer, so it looks like you would need that F-450 to tow anything on this page that would work for you.

Always roll with Buggy width.
Even if you don't need that, it's a better resale feature.
