I'm helping a friend out....What prop would you run on an 18' Tahiti with a Berkley pump and a 455 Oldsmobile? Thanks in advance.

Hopefully for him your his good friend, you can run the props you have now, you'll be the one towing him every other time he takes it out. Or just have him pick up a trolling motor to throw on it when the olds takes a crap on him.

To answer your ? a "A" would be great on that olds, to keep the rpms down.

A "AA" would make it last even longer.

I took my Olds out and built an iron Mope.

I would go with an aggressor A Impeller and an ultimate wear ring. The aggressor is like a berk AA for the most part. The wear ring is most likely going to have to be changed out anyways. With the impeller out I would check the main shaft bearing and bowl bearings/seals.
