Need some measurement help on Casale Split Case

Can someone measure their v-drive and tell me how far the front case extends past the mid-plate? i.e. from mid-plate to deepest part of case (where tach drive screws in I would think). Thanks, trying to trim for seat clearance.

Does this help? The pic is a little deceiving, I measured from the face of the hex nut on the end of the tach drive to the plate and it's 4 1/2" for reference.
