What shop would you take your boat to in Havasu to replace the engine coupler? It seems the average price is running about $1600 to $1800. But who would you trust?

Depends on the boat but would look seriously at Jimmy Chongs at Chong's marine over by mad dogs.

A service is one thing, pulling the motor and drive is a different story. Who has had this work done on there boat?

Jimmy took care of my old Four Winns a few years ago and was outstanding in his service and pricing. That's why I asked what kind of boat. I would have Absolute do the Advantage.

Had to have the coupler replaced on our boat awhile back. Went to Maxs Machine Worx, drives are their specialty and they did a fantastic job and fairly priced. I have no problem recommending them. The are in Havasu. 928-505-7860

As a tech of 30 years I usually don't let anyone work on anything I own but OD1 (Paul) is someone I'd use without a second thought.
