Do any of you computer savy types know why the voice in this video sounds synthesized, digital and computer generated ?
Seems similar to voice I've heard generated when people with a speech impairment type words that are then reproduced digitally.

I wish someone in the Caribbean was smart enough to plan ahead and film the stage separation and explosion from up close (e.g., directly above them)

But I guess astronomy and engineering aren't those people's strong suit, nor the priority of people vacationing there hahaha

Needs a hell of a lot more water. It’s not just for pad cooling but the water plays a major role in sound suppression that keeps the pad from being shaken apart.

I also don’t agree with how they just blow the water up from below. The old Apollo pad dumped water from below and also from above (pad level) down and they achieved many launches without any pad damage.

Elons a smart guy they can figure out how to beef up the system, but they are definitely outside of common knowledge when their first stage has like two dozen rocket engines compared to Apollo’s five.
