I had some Lake Havasu customers fly in today to test drive and order a 22 Liberator. I only had the 450 boat available to test. They ended up ordering one with a 450R. Boat still ran 111 on the rev limiter with 4 people on board.

I haven’t been in a liberator since the Havasu Barney days.. I gotta admit I keep looking at the pics thinking “this might work for me” :D

Obviously a performance boat, how are it's manners otherwise ? I've only seen vids on flat water, will it handle a Havasu summer Saturday and cruise at 40-60 ?
Or is this primarily an early AM / PM grin maker ?

I keep coming back to look at these boats! Looking forward to seeing one in Havasu and getting real world info. When will the boat make it out here?

Sad part is there was a post on riverwhips, and the goons over there were busting the guys balls. A few flat billers got on there talking about how they can run at speed in any water because they can afford a large boat.

Personally I think these are pure badass! I'd own one in a heartbeat if my son was a little older and I didn't have to worry about him trying to crawl out of the thing all the time

An old friend had a 21' Liberator with the 300X. It ran right at 90 mph from what I remember and did great coming back from the Springs to the Channel. Obviously this size class boat will struggle a bit coming in and around Thompson Bay on a Saturday, but so what. This thing seems extremely fun.

Would be a great mid-week or offseason boat.

Anybody remember the days back in the late 70s and early 80s if you had a 23 to 26 foot Nordic or Eliminator you were king of the lake.
I went from a stoker to a 27 Advantage and it felt huge. Now a days it is a run of the mill lake boat lol

I sold a white and blue 22 to Mike Brown in Parker this summer. He has videos of it running out there.
