What kind of fuel economy can be expected with this new motor? 3.73 or 4.10 rear. highway or average for a tank

How about a ball park price on a 4x4 f250 crew xlt?

Thanks

The 6.2L is quoted as getting 15% better fuel economy than the 5.4L V8 gas engine it replaced in the Super Duty segment. The guys I've sold them to are averaging about 10% better in So. Cal. That translates to around 14-15mpg in town and 17-18 on the highway. Like all gas engines, expect that to drop when towing.

The base MSRP for a 2011 F250 Crew XLT is $ 40,395 (includes destination and delivery). That price includes the 6.2L V8 and the 6-speed automatic transmission.

Yikes! how much would the same truck be with a diesel? And how different would the fuel mileage be?

The diesel is a $7835 option.

On average the fuel economy will be about 5 mpg better unloaded and not towing. Loaded and towing is where the diesel will shine and be more efficient.
