So what's the overall thinking behind the design of the boat. It looks like they literally took a V and added from wings so to speak. Does it actually increase lift and get the boat out of the water more like a cat? Or was there some other reason for the desing like more open bow space? I saw more of these on the water this year than anytime before and they definitely caught my eye.
Here are a couple more pictures She is now in the rig shop waiting for a Mercury 502 MAG HO. This boat will be equipped with full hydraulic steering. With the stock 430 HP 502 this boat is still one of the best family sport boats as it still comes on plane almost instantly and stays flat all the time so tubing and wake boarding are a breeze even with a boat load of people.
Here are a couple more pictures of the Boat in the finishing stages. Dash being fitted, rub rail installed, windshields have been glassed and gel-coated to look like one piece and ready to install motor.
I would say the x-flights are the hottest thing going for advantage boats...
They keep selling and building them..
It's really a good all-round boat for lakes..
Just my biais .02
I took a buddy to this years Pomona show and he loved these things.... they are such a departure from what we're accustomed to seeing... for me it looks like a hammerhead shark from the front... the things seem like a vee and a deck had puppies ha.... very purposeful design and man are they spacious.
