RDP is exhibiting and looking forward to doing it as it is the first show!
We have to come back o Havasu Saturday night for some friends 50th b day party but I see some serious potential for partying at this show into the years ahead.. Hotels, bars, gambling, boatshow?? :D.

I wanted to go to that kiss concert so bad.. lol. It’s Wendi and Williams 50th though and they are going all out and we want to be there for them.
Unless you like karaoke, you're not missing much.:D

I think I’d rather be raking rocks than attend either of the 2 events.

Thank you for that thoughtful and positive contribution to the site.. lol.
Dave, i just know most of the stuff in Laughlin is peanuts compared to what goes on in Havasu. Lastly, I’m not a big fan of Kiss and wouldn’t spend a dime to see them. That’s just my opinion.

I remember when the Sand Sports show barely filled a room the size of a Burger King. These newer shows grow with time and get better each year.

RD if you get a chance check out the Tri-Pontoons for the most bang for the buck. The inflated bubble on the Tritoons prices are holding us back.
I’m stuck in town and can’t make it.

It’s not all about me.
Those of us with younger wives and SO’s like the bands from their early teens.
Rick Springfield was at one show and most our wives would have done him on stage while we were checking out the Box anchors.

It'll be interesting to see how the show pays off for those companies participating. What was that company that sold like 7 boats on a thursday at the LA show? Its a show you have to travel to (even those in havasu will have a drive) and we all know none of the crackheads in bullhead have any money.

One if the main reasons we are going (even with a scheduling conflict) is I’m betting this show is going to take off like wildfire over the next few years.

For myself I’d rather exhibit in Laughlin and after the show goto a nice dinner and gamble etc. possibly catch a show if it’s a band we like. There’s large hotels and casinos etc..

Havasu doesn’t have any of that.. Although Havasu does have the ability for on the water demos which could be huge if they dialed it in right.

Either way we are going to show support for Bob and lock in preferred booth space and usually these things are done on seniority.

We're in the same boat, or no boat
Every time we price out a toon we like it's over 80 grand. And it doesn't give us the WOW factor
Ready to pull the trigger when we find the right one

Though Bass Pro won't deal on the Sun Tracker, it doesn't mean, and we have seen them end of year marked down. New $35.9 with a 250 Merc once.
Seems high but really cheap compared to others.
Everyone says get the Tri.

Yumpin Yimminy it's a damn pontoon for christ sakes.

Yep, we almost bought a Regency. They even powder coat their tubes, no oxidizing, no need to buff shiny
They do a lot of nice things on the interior.
Everyone talks them down but they sell a ton of them. It's 3 aluminum tubes and a deck with a sofa lol
$70k for a decked out 25' with a 250 with a $2000 gift card
They don't do test rides

I think most of the comments here so far are pretty much on the money. This is a test in a relatively new market, hoping to make it an annual event. A little background -- about six months ago I was contacted by the Edgewater (one of three Laughlin hotels recently purchased by Golden Entertainment) wanting to put on a show (they attended the April 2019 Havasu Boat Show) and apparently liked what they saw. Honestly, this will be a modest beginning like most first-time shows. We do have a nice diversifcation of boats and new RZRs, Can Ams, Teryx, etc. The indoor booth vendors area will be good plus a team (doubles) competition cornhole tournament on Saturday for cash. Lake Mohave is supporting the show with good representation from Katherine Landing. It's also a free admission event hoping that will maximize attendance (parkiing is free too). Will it be the Havasu Boat Show in year #1? No....but It's probably worth 2 or 3 hours of browsing and there wil be some dynamite BBQ in the food court and beer gardens. And if you do get bored, there's plenty of casino action inside the big sliding glass doors. Hope a lot of RDPers find time to stop by -- February 28-29 & March 1.

FYI -- the 2020 Lake Havasu Boat Show (April 3-4-5) will be as good or better than ever. The show sold out of space by February 1 (earliest ever).

You might be suprised,by people visiting the Casinos with no intention of buying anything and with good weather, the River right out front and a nice crowd some sales will happen. I have seen that many times some retired couples with disposable $'s get the "BUG" and open the wallets.:)

Good Luck.

P.S. don't listen to the SHIT = Bullhead Crackheads comment. There are many who do the same and have never been to the town.

Nordic sold 7 boats the opening day of the show on Thursday. They sold 16 boats in total for the show, quite impressive. Amazing what you can do when you have the best customer service in the industry!

We had friends bought a new pontoon no test ride.
Danny warned them then:

Did they ever hate it.
Bought another that same summer.

Based on the Laughlin demographic I've noticed over the years, they better have a lot of Sea-Doos, Yamaha Deck Boats and Raider Nation gear available for sale. That being said, they might sell more concert tickets if Pit Bull or Jennifer Lopez was performing.
