We took the toon over last night to check it out.....takeaways:

- docks are awesome, no direction or signs on where visitors are supposed to park, no issue though, we were the only boat there, im sure the signs will follow
- doesnt look like they invested in any clean air filter technology, place stunk of smoke almost as bad as the old place, sucks that they didnt do more with the filtration, it really shortens the amount of time most people want to stay, including us, eyes are watering and its time to leave
- 6 tables total, i think the old place had 4
- it seems as if the entire place has about the same amount of slots, its just that they are much more spread out instead of packed in narrow rows like they were in the old place
- drinks are still pretty reasonably priced

Is it mandatory to smoke when you gamble? lol. I’m surprised the gambling industry hasn’t realized that the 2nd Hand Smoke deal keeps away the vast majority of potential customers. Being an ex-smoker I almost gag on the smell of cigarette smoke. It’s like breathing ass!!!

Right there with you. I grew up with the parents smoking on road trips with the windows up. Turns out it was good for me in the long run. Even if it didn’t bother me, my better half has asthma. No chance she could spend 15 minutes in there. Too bad really, could have been a good way to end the night.

No clue...is there smoking throughout the casino? Or designated non smoking areas. My wife would never step foot inside if all smoking

You can smoke everywhere except the restaurant. We were there Friday night for the opening. Had a blast at the soft opening!

I don't think the locals from the Az. side will support the new restaurant menu and high prices. Casino, meh, nice bathrooms though.

I'll give them 3 weeks and the free boat passes will be back in the paper, and ads for food specials.;)

I like it. At night we can see the new casino and the lights reflect off the water.

On Friday when we went a friend of mine introduced me to the GC they built it.. So I say “hey man nice to meet ya”. He looks at me and says “I know you Dave... I’ve had beers in your garage like four times now.” Slightly embarrassing.. lol.

I saw a huge stack of signs they still need to put up, at the marina store. And I was told they had a good air filtration system installed, but may not have it on, or know how to turn it on.......smh.
Give them time to figure things out. Grand opening is 12/6.

I heard the drink girl telling someone they were in the non smoking section, don't remember exactly where it was though.

You’re a casino who doesn’t have hvac, electrical, IT, and maybe plumbing representatives on standby for your soft opening?

There is a group of people I camp with on riding trips that I have been about 5 trips now with over last 3 years. Every time I show up on the next, two of the guys come up and introduce themselves all over again to me. I'm like WTF, are you that drunk you forgot me 4 trips in a row!?

Both of these guys are cops, one a chief of a major Socal city that Ill leave unnamed.

If that's not scary, I don't know what is.

If I go on trips with groups I almost never remember the names. I’m terrible at that, and honestly I always feel bad about it. It’s getting worse as I get older.

A few years ago I had really high blood pressure and was having all kinds of memory problems.

Its not so much remembering my name Dave. I can understand that. Although when I worked at Long Beach Yacht Sales , being a salesperson you HAVE to remember names. So I got better also.

But how do you not know you camped and hung out with someone for 4 day trips? LOL..I mean, we sat at Campfires every night, everyone talked, took group rides. It really trips me out.

Not to get completely sidetracked but since That fateful day where I decided my foot looked better going backwards than forwards I can’t remember shit. I don’t know if it’s the constants Pain, or if I am spending so much focus on where I’m stepping and how I’m walking etc nothing seems to stick anymore..

No shit last Saturday I woke up and was saying “there’s something I have to do today.. wtf is it?” Finally Stacy said “you are gonna be late for the boatshow if you don’t get moving.

Wife went for breakfast. Said it was good but service slow. $97 bill for 7 people.
She didnt see the non smoking area. I just go sit in the boat if its too smokey. I agree that more people might play or play longer if it was less smokey
Wife came home with extra $400

The Landing rumor mill was saying that 40 of the 48 rooms were occupied by the different contractors that built the casino.Judging by that you would think they would be on top of everything that wasn't working right

Agreed. That’s what I heard too. Like the high dollar ventilation system that obviously isn’t working properly......

Very low ceiling for a Casino. Wow, it has to smell pretty bad from the smokers..

Finally made it to the casino.
I have to say I'm impressed.
Hopefully they keep it as clean as it is.
I thought it would be a little bigger inside and more variety of games.
It's nice that they have the no smoking area and the games I like to play and I even doubled my money too.
Gift shop looks nice as well as the restaurant but we didn't eat there today.
I like the bar area and open atmosphere and it can be closed off to the rest of the casino when the live music starts.
Beers went up to 3 bucks
They don't announce the Tecopa is there. We just made it for the ride back and they opened the gate for us
Anyone stay in a room yet?

They just put in a semi truck full of new machines this week . I guess the sign at the side door saying no pictures or video allowed went unnoticed.

Yep 3 blasts going in reverse
That's why he doesn't sound the horn in Havasu since he goes forward
Captain has a tight fit going in to casino. Bumped the rails a couple times.

RVR SWPR, how do you like the new casino?

The Hotel/Casino/Marina looks good.Right now wondering what the future plans might be for the Landing.Major resurfacing project at Airport.Literally hundreds of truck loads Asphalt or some sort of paving Material suitable for Run way surface.Several weeks trucks all day,Paving Equip and crew appeared to be working on Run Way.Not really sure who has correct info about the future plans.
