Yes that was one of my builds , what a shit show lol .. good to see it got done!! Pretty looking boat . Larry (gelcoater) actually did the Graffics of that one !!! I love the gelcoat on that boat

It was being tooled over at Stans @ crusader . Jim brought it to him in 07 to finish.It was completed Jim saw the molds and finished plug before he passed away. Last I heard mold was for sale out in Hemet.

We haven’t landed on a name yet . Our 29 tooling is done we are gonna pop a new plug out of those molds and make another set of molds to except outboards .. and we a currently tooling a 34 that is strictly outboards .. our bottoms were designed by someone well recognized in the industry and the tops were designed by rob king .. thanks for the kind words !

I met Rob King when he was tooling the Ultra Stealth for John West back in the day. He was an artist! Fun to watch the shapes come together.

The raptor molds were previously owned by a guy named rocky and he was a fucker to deal with he took my money didn’t pay the place that was supposed to be building it .. I ended up having to pay my own gelcoater to come do it .paid rocky to cap it he never paid shop .. it was nothing but a back and forth shit show .. I guess the molds are owned by American offshore now so I’m sure that’s better ...
the Arneson was cool and I think if I had patience and more knowledge back then it could have worked great and been really cool , the problem was I was 24 years old with more money then sense and just wanted to boat and not worry about making shit work . So I glasses in the transom and put a scx on it and popped the boost power 900 the first time out with the new drive .. then the boat sat ,I started building ultra 344, motor got rebuilt , never took it out , feds took the boat, in a nut shell

We been busy tooling the out board models .. but the molds for I/o are just sitting patiently waiting for a cut and buff ...boat has a ton of shape so it wasn’t the easiest thing to layup and build .. should have boat number one on the water here real soon ... will post a ton of pics and video of it real soon

The 29 is 114” beam.. 56” tunnel with pod . the sides are not flat (posted pics for reference) . it’s got wide hips in the rear .. we are also tooling the 29’ without the bussle for outboards so it will be about 28’ .. I’ll post rendering
The 34 is 122” beam and 63 inch true tunnel

Your best bet in Norcal is Merced/Atwater, most builders are gone now and there is a ton of talent in the area. I have four that commute from there but I pay them way more than what any builder in the area pays. There is really only one and he treats his employees like shit and pays the same, he gets away with it because he's the only game in town. They also don't bag anything... unless sucking plastic down with a shop vac after lamination is Cali legal but there are some really good laminators down there that you can train to do true bagging. You'll have to get a gel coater from down south to do graphics in the mold.... no one up here has the talent or experience to do what you and your customers expect.

Your boat looks great... LOVE the lines !!! The boat market is crazy, if you can jump in now.... you will definitely sell some boats. I can't wait to see the outboard true tunnel... I just might be in line for that !!! I know your project has been in the works for awhile but you have to be stoked on the design, I would say it was worth the wait... Congrats !!!!
