We haven’t landed on a name yet . Our 29 tooling is done we are gonna pop a new plug out of those molds and make another set of molds to except outboards .. and we a currently tooling a 34 that is strictly outboards .. our bottoms were designed by someone well recognized in the industry and the tops were designed by rob king .. thanks for the kind words !

A performance boat company in Northern California? I'll have to see it to believe it. Where abouts would this be? Best of luck to you.

Looks good! I am no help with anyone with that type of skills though. Good luck to you and the business though. To me it's just good to see the competition in builders. As on evolves, they all must keep up. It makes it good for those of us watching them fly by ;)

Outskirts of Discovery bay
I'm not to far away in Livermore. Might be fun to stop in and see some progress. You probably know this but there is a lot of performance boating in that part of the delta. It will be fun to see your boats out there. Can you finish one in time for the Big Cat poker run?

Super rad and great looking boats. I hope you guys kill it.

I'm sure the last thing you want to hear is a bunch of internet forum cowboys throwing out ideas to you but the cursive logo definitely doesn't lend itself to the modern hard AutoCAD looking lines your new boat has. I think Cadillac is literally the only company in the world that can pull that off. Other than that good luck! Can't wait to see the finished product.

On another note, I don't know how anyone could open a new boat company in California; not only because of how business unfriendly they are but all the environmental BS you have to deal with. We carried Sanger and I knew people at Centurion and I heard about some of their struggles. I guess there is a reason so many builders are in Tennessee?

I agree with you the cursive is out , that rendering was 5 years old lol .. and yes California in tuff for wake boat guys because there building 4-6 a week and open molds , we only plan on maybe 12 a year closed molds . That is how mb and some of the other boat guys are doing it by switching to closed molds

So you’re making negative and positive molds?

Wasn't Glastron or Larson building boats that way? Almost like an overgrown injection mold.

No I just have normal collision restoration body shop , never ended up getting Arneson to work right but I really wasn’t experienced enough then , I might have a better shot at it now

Yes full liner , engine bay also full smooth liner ! We made it so dash is a bolt in part so we can have a couple different styles depending on what owner wants !

Jim Cole tooled a cat mold and there's never been a boat pulled from it. It was for sale out in Hemet.

Never seen Jim's cat mold or design, but doubt they'd go to the effort and expense to create a plug if they had Jim's old cat mold.
If Jim had a cat mold that looked that good, he was a good 15 years ahead of his time and somebody outta be building it. 👍

Think that would be closer to 20+ years now? Lol

I damn near typed 20, then wondered if the cat idea and mold came post-shooting-shutdown ? I do recall in 98' when finishing my Hawk, he was on a rant about how ventilated bottoms were going to kill everybody. 😁

Looks pretty cool!

I'd be worried about the boat getting stuck in the mold with all the hard edges/corners.
