The GT350 is a nice car but I wouldn’t call it fast, base model 5.0s are faster.

I don’t think the flat plane crank has anything to do with the handling. It does sound nice though, I would love to daily one

I just talked to a local dealer about a standard C8 and the premium was ridiculous there. They add $30,000-40,000. no thanks I will pass

Interested to see how this thing performs. The current cars are fast and underpowered so 670hp and Z07 package should make this thing a monster on track.

This things is going to blow minds. Wait until they release the ZR1 variant with AWD/Hybrid program its going to perform with the big dollar hyper cars for 1/4 the cost.

I have been looking at 2018-20 Camaro ZL1's and there still freaking crazy high. 65+++...lol

People are asking 115k for used c8's. The world has still lost its mind and I'm not sure when that's going away.

You just need to know where to look, there are dealers taking allocations for C8Zs at MSRP. People can ask what they want but C8s aren’t selling for 115k used and they haven’t been for a while.

Dealers I talked to had crazy markups on regular C8's. I just got tired of it and walked.

I am not in a hurry. Gonna wait it out. Maybe pick a C8 couple years from now when things cool off a bit.

It won’t go away till the EIDL money and forgivable PPP windfalls have all been spent. Everyone is sitting on piles of cash, EIDL loans at 4% with 30 year repayment schedules like a mortgage. Everyone is a cash buyer all at the same time.

By time I departed the car biz I had between 5 and 8% available gross profit on new cars.

Look up Whitmoyer Auto Group, the only sell for MSRP. I had my dad contact them about a C8Z a month or so ago, $1,000 deposit to be put on the “list”.

I have a C5 and a C3. Been thinking about selling both and getting a C7 but prices have sky rocketed so going to just keep both and do some mods.
I still think that even with current inflated prices, a C5 is still the best bang for buck you can get.

I'ts been run in the C8r cars since 2019 with good luck but yeah the days of a simple 500hp bullet proof boat anchor are gone. (rightfully so for what they are trying to do)

Personally i would have proffered the 650hp LT4 but i'm not who they are going after.

My buddy just sold a clean 2 owner low mile 2014 zl1 manual. Raced him in my stock 2019 mustang gt 10 speed and i pulled a hair at 120. Very close race and the camaro has an extra 100hp. I just don't think i can walk away from the performance difference the new 10 speed cars offer. Its not just in a straight line they are faster everywhere.

Seems like they are taking this back to a track focused car like a GT3 Porsche. The C7 Z06 was not a track focused car in my opinion. This NA C8 Z06 leaves room for a supercharged ZR1 and/or some hybrid thing
