After years of browsing through RDP, figured why not join the best boat forum on the web.

Currently own a 96’ 21’ Ultra open bow. Currently set up to look at Hallet 210 closed bow this weekend if everything goes well.

Your Ultra looks super nice, and of course you can never go wrong with a Hallett!

I have a question though, why go from a roomy open bow to a closed bow?

Sure is! Hopefully I can hang onto it for awhile. Had it out in Parker this last weekend and ran solid.

It was several factors that played in the decision. I originally seen it about 2 years ago and fell in love with it. Timing was right and just pulled the trigger. The ultra has a 350/Alpha 1 and was my first boat, but there’s really no room for growth. It’s been awesome, but it almost has too many seats lol. Friends/family are always upset they are not getting invited etc.. so now with the closed bow, there’s no more complaining because my answer will be there’s no more room haha. The closed bow even with less seats, feels a lot more roomier.
