Stumbled onto RDP on Instagram, which led me here.... Old guy that's been around boats in one way or another for 50+ years. Don't claim to know it all (or anything really) just enjoy talking about boats and to boaters. I'm self employed, which means I don't have as much time as I'd like to be on the water....

Lol... Really? I'm from Mascoutah

I used to run around in Freeburg back in the early 80's for a few years.... Had many a beer at Burgard's Tavern...

How far is that from Olney? Have a couple of hunting buddies from "the home of the white squirrel ":p

Mostly Rend Lake, if I'm short on time I'll go to Carlyle.... but I grew up on that lake and it's a little boring now.

We went to Lake of the Ozarks for a few days this fall, and that's now my go to lake, a little further to drive, but much, much nicer.

I also like Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley, we go there once a year

I'm not a big kaskaskia river fan... It's fine, but not my first choice
