You think FaceID is fun normally, its useless with wearing a mask. I'm not sure why Apple can't modify the algorithm to figure you are "you" with a mask but they haven't done it yet so maybe it can't be done. But it definitely shows that the home button fingerprint reader would be a good backup option. Hell if they could even do it on the screen somehow at least you can get into your phone with a finger swipe.

I have a 10 and a seven. They were starting to go bad on the batteries. I took it to Apple and they completely redid them. New screens, batteries, Mic, speaker & push button on the seven, they’re like brand new phones. Couldn’t be happier. The cost was just a little hundred dollars each phone. I have the 256 on the 10 and 126 on the seven.

from what little I had time to read it can or will be able to map a room say at your house to see how different furniture would look like And things like that..

That's what i read as well. I'm thinking it might be useful out on a job site, like mapping the inside of an old pump house for retrofit or something like that vs our full survey mapping setup.
