How’s it running with the evinrude?

Runs like a champ. Has about 5 hours on it now. Gets on plane super fast, even with a 26 pitch. I’ll be swapping out the 14” Gill stand-off with a 6” Bob’s jack plate. The engine is set a little bit too far back.

I don't have any plans to come back anytime in the near future. It would be nice to sit on the deck at the Maritim Hotel, and have a drink. LOL

So - how’s she run? I’m talking to Randy about 22 w/ 300 now and interested in all opinions.
she runs pretty dam good for an old carb motor so far its seen low 70s as this altitude. i love the new 21s and 22s Randys has done he is truly badass.

You need to watch this before you buy a jack plate. At the 1.40 mark

What are you saying? Looks like that boat has an issue? I didn't see an issue with the jackplate?
Watch it again, you can't see that slide plate working back-and-forth?. When you see those motors rocking back-and-forth, it's theJack plate just watch the slide plate.

The plates looked to be about 12”-14” offset. That definitely could be why there is some torsional load. Maybe with the 6” there is less twisting.

The engine starts moving before the slide plate moves. This guy has engine mount issues. That said the jack plate is making matters worse.

Where do you and your family do your boating? What speeds are you seeing?
We usually boat on Berlin Lake and the Ohio River. This boat I just bought so I haven’t had it out yet. Looking forward to finding out what speeds it is capable of. But mostly how quick it gets there.

What part of Ohio River? 2016 I ran my 25 Daytona from Mississippi River to Pittsburgh, PA in 5 days, best week of my life.

We can often be found hanging on the hook in Cemetery Bay.

Good for you! We have family in Wisconsin, my dream would be to take two weeks and work my way up the country and come boat with everyone at their home lakes and rivers.
I can tell you that my 21 Daytona with twin 260 OS is the hardest accelerating boat I have ever been in by a mile. It's unreal how hard it pulls up to 100, and makes me giggle like I'm 16. Your 22 will be an animal.
It's also amazing how great it does in the chop. Of course it is heavy in the rear, but you pay attention and it's great. I always tell my friends when I'm crossing a wake it reminds me of wheel tapping three whoops in motocross! (if you ride moto).
The set of props I ran all last summer were 4 blade humpback cleavers which I believe are 14.5x30's. I love these props, they roll over nicely and run smooth. There are no markings on them but the original owner told me the size he thinks they are, but I still have no idea about the make. My other two sets which were finally sent to me are Mazco OS 3 blade cleavers, 15x32 and 15x34. I am interested how they work this summer.

Well if you ever make it to Ohio hit me up. I am looking forward for the weather to brake to get this thing out.

I saw the same thing. Later in the video you can see the engines moving again but it doesn't look like the plates are moving much, if at all.

Picked this up late last fall but it was too cold up in Wash St to get it sorted out. I bought it in Idaho but the seller only had it a short time and he bought it in Havasu. Does anyone out there know this boat? I'd like to find out a little more if anyone can help out. Tim @ Maxed Out Marine did provide some info. Supposedly it was a one owner boat prior to leaving Havasu.
